Changing Your Password using "Password Manager"

1)  Navigate to the NCPS district homepage / Staff Menu / and select "password manager" OR  Visit the following website:  https://ramslock.newcanaan.k12.ct.us/  then click "Reset Password"

2) In the domain username box enter your computer log in username (ex john.smith) and press continue.

3) Answer your two security questions.

4)  Fill in the characters exactly how they appear in the scramble box and click "continue".

5)  Enter your new password and once again enter the characters you see in the scramble security box.  

6)  Your password will now be changed.  IMPORTANT:  This will take effect for BOTH computer log in, and your school Gmail account. Please log out of all accounts and restart your computer for changes to fully take place.

    The answer to my earlier comment is that I should use my NCPS Google Apps username and password - not the NCPS domain u/n p/w.

    The page shows that you are logging on to the NCPS domain.  You must use your NCPS log on credentials.

     

    If you password has expired before you do the initial registration, you must call the Help Desk at 4618 or do it at a campus workstation.
